Description

Type A Single Module 32A B Curve 30mA Arc Fault Detection Device

WCED WFD132B-030

The WCED WFD132B-030 AFDD is a 32A-rated protection device designed for high-power circuits. It includes a 30mA Type A bi-directional RCBO and an Arc Fault Detection Device (AFDD). This device prevents electrical fires by detecting short circuits, overloads, arc faults, and earth leakage. The smart microcontroller scans circuits instantly and shuts down power when it detects hazards.

The WCED WFD AFDD is made for single-phase AC systems at 230V @ 50Hz. It fits into standalone single-phase setups or one phase of a three-phase distribution board. It is not for DC networks.

Each WFD AFDD provides full protection against:

  • Short circuits
  • Overloads
  • Overvoltage conditions
  • Earth leakage faults
  • Both parallel and series arc faults

As a result of detecting faults, the built-in microcontroller shuts down circuits instantly, stopping dangerous electrical fires. It protects against wiring issues, old circuits, bad connections, and overloaded systems.

In addition, the WFD AFDD keeps systems stable. It only turns off faulty circuits, while healthy ones keep working. This reduces downtime and prevents unnecessary power loss.

Moreover, the switched neutral feature fully isolates the circuit, improving safety and making insulation testing easier without disconnecting conductors.

This device works smoothly with WCED TPN Distribution Boards, making commercial and industrial electrical installations more efficient.

Key Features:

  • 32A Rated Current
  • 30mA Type A RCBO + AFDD
