The IDEAL 61-948 SureTrace™ PLUS Open/Closed Circuit Tracer is a high-precision troubleshooting tool designed for finding breakers, fuses, conductors, dead shorts, and wiring faults in energised and de-energised circuits. Rated CAT III 600V, this circuit tracer works with 0-600V AC (50 & 60Hz) and DC systems, including three-phase setups.
It features dual high-visibility displays with a patented 180° rotating main display and TightSight® secondary display, allowing for easier circuit tracing in tight spaces. Additionally, the receiver includes a non-contact voltage (NCV) detector, a built-in work light, and a mute function for noise-sensitive environments.
The transmitter features a built-in continuity tester, eliminating the need for additional testing tools. It also detects eight voltage levels between 24V – 600V AC and 12V – 600V DC, with DC polarity indication. Designed for durability, the receiver and transmitter feature industrial-grade over-moulding, offering enhanced grip and drop protection up to 2m (6.6 feet).
