Unlike many other units, the GS8EV40CPME does not require an earth rod thanks to its integrated PEN fault protection. With the higher inrush handling of a Curve C RCBO, it’s ideal for EV chargers with variable startup loads.
Even better, when a voltage issue or PEN fault occurs, the unit disconnects power to keep your system safe. Once the voltage returns to normal and the fault clears, the unit automatically resets itself, and charging resumes without manual intervention.
