SunStone’s Cement Coated Insulation Boards, sized 1200x600x6mm, are an essential component for enhancing the efficiency of your underfloor heating system. This pack of 8 boards is designed to provide excellent insulation and support for both concrete and timber subfloors. These cement-coated boards come in various thicknesses: 6mm, 10mm, and 20mm. Uncoated boards are available in sizes 1245x600mm and thicknesses of 10mm and 20mm.
The material of these insulation boards is easy to cut with a utility knife, making it effortless to shape them to fit the unique contours of your room. Each board is composed of extruded polystyrene, faced with a 0.5mm thick glass-fiber mesh reinforced with polymer-modified cement mortar, ensuring robust performance with a load-bearing capacity of 30 tonnes/m².
Once installed, you can directly place your underfloor heating system on top of these boards without needing additional preparatory work. The cement-coated boards do not require primer when used with underfloor heating systems, simplifying the installation process.
