The built-in tamper-proof lithium cells offer up to 2 months of operation without mains power and have a 10-year lifespan.
Operation of the Aico Ei129 Hard Wired Switched Input Module
When the volt-free contacts connected to the switched input module close, the system triggers all interconnected smoke, heat, and CO alarms. Once the triggering device resets, the contacts switch back, and the module automatically resets, stopping the alarm sound.
